FortyTwo Performance started because I’ve seen too many “performance” parts fail exactly when riders need them most. From late-night paddock rebuilds after catastrophic crashes to managing technical service at a major Japanese OEM, I’ve diagnosed and fixed the weaknesses that stock (and most aftermarket) components can’t handle under serious abuse.

My background?

• Mechanic for a MotoAmerica race team—nights spent rebuilding bikes from the frame up (like that 4 AM grind at Road America after a snapped main frame, only to watch our rider dominate and win the next day, dedicating it to the crew).

• 13 years in corporate technical service management at a big Japanese manufacturer, solving every technical challenge and failure mode imaginable.

• Turning wrenches in dealerships since the late ’90s.

• Still out there today: pinning it in the advanced group at track days and coaching riders.

Every bracket, mount, and component we machine is overbuilt based on those real-world lessons—not guesses from a catalog. We focus on modern sportbikes (like the Yamaha R1) because that’s where I’ve logged the laps and solved the problems.
